The Tent House
2004 | Sculpture | Wood, canvas, ceramic tiles, sand, aluminum, acrylic sheet; metal stool, powder painted steel pedestal.
This house sculpture of wood, canvas, ceramic tiles and sand is set on a powder-coated steel frame. The viewer sits on a revolving metal stool placed underneath the sculpture and sticks his or her head through a hole in the middle of the floor. They become part of the work as they now look out from the interior of the house. Though far oversized in proportion to the model they become the metaphorical inhabitants of the architecture.
